I'm Ahmed El-Khatib — though most people just call me Khatib.
I started my career as a .NET developer, writing APIs, building backends, and
learning how software actually holds together under pressure. Somewhere along the way,
Power Platform caught my attention — not as a shortcut, but as a legitimate enterprise
platform worth mastering. I leaned in, went deep on Dataverse, Azure integration, and
pro-code extensibility, and never looked back.
Today I'm the Power Platform Technical Lead at one of the leading Microsoft Partners in the Middle East, leading the
Power Platform department. That means solution architecture, ALM governance, client
delivery, and team direction — across Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Azure, and the full
Power Platform stack.
My work lives at the intersection of pro-code precision and platform leverage. I write
plugins, build Custom APIs, craft PCF controls, design Power Automate orchestrations,
and wire up Azure services — because the right tool matters more than any single paradigm.
I'm available for consultation, conference talks,
webinars, and mentoring — because knowledge compounds
when it's shared. This blog is where I document what I wish had been written down
when I was figuring it out the hard way.
